KUBI Standard 1.6mm Latex Gloves

Yes, you can use the KUBI Standard system to connect to the latex cuff zip seals of your DUI system. The KUBI system will fit to the latex cuff seal and not to the suit itself.

KUBI dry glove systems are sized using the smallest aluminum ring through which your hand will fit. This is the aluminum ring on the glove side. Measure the inside diameter of the glove side aluminum ring and it will be either 70, 80, 90 or 100mm. This is the size of your KUBI dry glove system.

KUBI dry glove systems are available in two systems: KUBI Standard range is designed to fit to the existing latex or silicone cuff seals of your drysuit. KUBI Fitted system is designed to be installed permanently into your drysuit (which we recommend is done by your drysuit manufacturer). The glove side of the system is the same for both systems.

The KUBI Standard dry glove system will not seal directly onto neoprene cuff seals. There are two options available for the use of neoprene cuff seals and KUBI:

1. Consider asking your drysuit manufacturer to install the KUBI Fitted system.
2. Consider the use of a Latex Overseal.

If your existing drysuit has latex or silicon cuff seals, then you can simply install the KUBI Standard system yourself. If you require a permanently installed system (KUBI Fitted system), you can discuss the alterations required with your drysuit manufacturer. If your drysuit currently has a permanently installed system already, then this would have to be removed before using KUBI. If you are purchasing a new drysuit, consider discussing the KUBI Fitted system with your drysuit manufacturer.
